@NextTechBlog’s Identity Revealed
After months of speculation, I now have conclusive evidence that the person behind the parody account @NextTechBlog is in fact Mike Isaac, a senior editor at AllThingsD.
Initially much of the speculation regarding the account’s real identity circled around Owen Thomas, the West Coast Editor of Business Insider. But many insiders started dismissing this as a possibility in recent weeks, “It’s just not Owen’s thing anymore,” stated one pro blogger.
The next name that quickly emerged on the shortlist was Mike Isaac. After hours of research and analysis (i.e. I read the twitters), I now have indisputable facts on the real identity of this tech blogging superhero.
1. Always on the Twitter. There are only two technology bloggers that are on Twitter a minimum of 20 hours per day: @NextTechBlog and Mike Isaac.
2. Identical stream of consciousness.

3. The smoking gun! Mike finally mixed up his online personas and let one slip…this tweet from his real account contained the exact sentiment that we have come to expect from the @NextTechBlog.

BOOM! Case closed. Mike Isaac is my hero.
