Are you annoying the hell out of your friends on Facebook? Here is an easy way to tell…

Back in September, Facebook implemented a really nice feature that enabled you to subscribe to other people’s updates without have to add them as a friend. It’s a nice feature that broke up Facebook’s symmetrical following model by effectively copying what Twitter had popularized.   

Conversely, you can ALSO unsubscribe from existing friends’ updates without having to unfriend them. 

So using this new feature, you easily see if you’re annoying the hell out of your friends by seeing how many friends chose to unsubscribe from you. Yes, they are basically saying that they never want to hear from you and your lame updates again. Ever!

So use this formula to get the fun started:

(# of friends) - (# of friend subscribers) = Your annoyance quotient

So, how did you score?

The higher your number, the more annoying you are. If your number is over “10”, then you need to stop posting about Occupy Wall Street every hour or uploading 400 baby photos per day. 

I was pleasantly surprised that I had a perfect score of “0”…but then again, I do put good shit out there.
